Antonio Josino Meirelles

Executive Director

Antonio Josino is an international trade specialist with proven experience in the public affairs industry in areas related to trade, investments and corporate sustainability. As a representative of the National Confederation of Industry - CNI (2005-2011) in Brazil, Antonio coordinated coalition building initiatives for the WTO Doha Round, Mercosur, UNCTAD and UNFCCC negotiations. Antonio has also served as Public Affairs executive at Camargo Corrêa Holding (2011-13) and Anglo American Brazil (2013-14). He has managed and advised external affairs strategies in support to C-level executives and to sustainability projects in the infrastructure and mining industry. He holds a Masters degree in International Trade Policy from SciencesPo-Paris (Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris) and a Bachelors in International Relations from PUC-São Paulo, Brazil.

Gracielle Palma

Manager

Gracielle Palma develops and administers BIC’s public affairs, including newsletters and websites, while managing the organization’s finances. She supports the institutional relations of BIC’s members, monitoring legislation and other trade related issues. As the program coordinator at the Center for Latin American Issues (CLAI) at George Washington Univeristy, she was responsible for implementing all activities related to CLAI’s training programs, conferences, and events. Ms. Palma holds a Master’s in International Commerce and Public Policy from George Mason University as well as a Bachelor’s in Language and Literature from Universidade Estadual de Maringa in Brazil.

Alinne Oliveira

Agricultural Policy Fellow

Alinne Oliveira is the former Head of the International Relations department at the Brazilian Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock (CNA). Before joining CNA Alinne worked at the Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI) as International Negotiations Specialist, and at the Brazil Industries Coalition, in Washington D.C., as a registered lobbyist representing the Brazilian private sector interests in the United States. Alinne holds a specialization in Trade Policy and Negotiations from Harvard University, a Masters degree in Latin American Studies and International Business Diplomacy from Georgetown University, and a Bachelors in Political Science and International Relations from University of Central Florida. 

Julia Valladao

Intellectual Property Fellow

Julia Valladao is a Brazilian attorney specialized in cross-border investments, with focus on international project finance. She has worked with strategic planning at law firms and multinational companies, both with litigation and consultancy. As BIC’s Intellectual Property Fellow, Julia provides support for the intellectual property projects and initiatives. She recently earned her Business & Finance Master of Laws degree from The George Washington University, and holds a Bachelors in Law from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
