Private Sector Sets Guidelines on Ways to Deepen Brazil-US Relations

Last week, the Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI) and BIC organized a week of meetings with the U.S. private sector, members of the new administration and Congress. This advocacy mission outlined a number of private sector priorities for the U.S. Congress and Administration, such as: paths to a free trade agreement, intellectual property, partnerships on innovation and energy. In addition, the Brazilian private sector pointed out issues about U.S. tax reforms and the trade policy agenda that may affect country's FDIs.
